#TheLKYMusicial ~ #RememberingLKY

As a supporter of our local production, I do not hesitate to book on a musical especially delicate to Mr LKY. The tickets were selling like hot cakes even though I was considered super early bird.

I only managed to get the Cat C tickets as the rest were sold out! I have a habit of collecting all the programme booklet and hor, I think this is the most expensive one I paid for local productions leh. $10!

Our seats wasn’t too bad actually and the whole theatre was full for a 3pm show.

My BF just refused to take a proper #wefie with me loh! (Nevertheless, I really appreciate his effort and enjoy his company despite he’s not so into Arts.)

Met up my two beautiful cousins (coincidentally watching on the same day and timing) for a short chat (gossip more like it lol) cum toilet break during the interval.

Personal Thoughts

With all the hype about this musical prior to the actual performance, it builds up huge curiosity and expectations within me. I came into the theatre expecting a fresh insight. Perhaps something more personal touch about the late Mr and Mrs Lee romance storyline. Perhaps to show us the sentimental man behind the iron fist (Girls being girls hor) :P. The story brings us from the schoolboy days of our Singapore’s late prime minister in Raffles College to the day of our independence in 1965. A story we already knew – an extraordinary man who wish to fight for a better life for his people. His visionary came true with full of trials and tribulations in building our modern and independent Singapore. It was a tale of high drama, intrigue, betrayal, love (sadly more brotherly) and loyalty.

Adrian Pang (My fave stage actor!) certainly pulls it off fitly as Mr Lee, displaying Mr Lee strong and leadership character with all of his complexity.  The qualities that defers from Adrian himself and yet he is able to portray Mr Lee convincingly to the audience.  Along with Adrian is the only female in the entire play, Sharon Au as Mrs Lee. Sadly, Sharon does not stand out in the play and is delegated to more of a background character. Other important characters like the late Prime Minister of Malaysia Mr. Tunku Abdul Rahman, Founder of Worker’s Party, Mr David Marshall and Singapore’s second chief minister, Lim Yew Hock are also perceived as 茄喱啡 “Ke-Le-Fe” in cantonese, we call it.

Anyways back to Sharon, many commented that she sing very badly, but I think otherwise. I don’t think it is that bad afterall. Her voice is just too soft and buried into the music, and personally I felt it was to her disadvantage especially the sound system isn’t too good to begin with in comparison to other theaters. Sharon is a good stage actress, perhaps singing just isn’t her kind of thing. Perhaps she is just too focused on role as Madam Kwa Geok Choo, a reticent, well-mannered and intelligent woman. Too reticent I thought, with clunky dialogues too. “Behind every successful man, there is a strong, wise and hardworking woman.” Indeed late Mrs Lee is a strong, wise and hardworking woman. However, through Sharon, I’ve seen a different side of Mrs Lee with a meek personality and there is a shadow of an assertive yet submissive wife. Sigh, sometimes I find being a woman really not easy hor; really have to find that balance – Guess, I still have more to learn. 😦

What stands out in this play is the duet “Look At Him” sang by Adrian and Benjamin Chow, playing antagonist Lim Chin Siong. Sorry Dick Lee and Stephen Clark, I have to say this is really the only song (erm infact only “Look At Him”…3 words?) that is still lingering on my mind apart from our National Anthem, which ends the play with sense of patriotism. I really can’t remember the rest! Impressively, Benjamin does a fabulous job to bring out the charismatic antagonist. But then hor, why is he speaking in perfect english when he is supposed to be the finest Chinese orator leh? I thought it will be more convincing if he speaks in mandarin in some of his scenes like during the rally campaign? As usual, Sebastian Tan (my other fave comedian stage actor/director), sure to live up its name of being a rickshaw puller, Koh Teong Koo by adding some hokkien humor in his dialogues, which lighten up the serious production.

The stage set up is cleverly designed using wooden boards to make up a 3-story level high with nine boxes (like tic tack toe) to showcase different scene, along with multimedia projections and lighting to create the different effects. Like I said earlier on, the sound system isn’t that great. I’m siting quite near to the entrance on the first level and not that far to the stage. My bf also agreed with me that the music and dialogues exchanges by the artists are pretty far and alittle echoed.

Overall, I find it was still an enjoyable to watch The LKY Musical,to witness and appreciate the efforts that our local talents have put in. It is not easy to piece everything together and they have worked so hard to showcase this highly anticipated play. I won’t rate it as a fantastic production for sure (maybe 3.5/5?) but if you want to watch history comes to life by our local talents (which I think we should all support our local production!), catch it from now till 16 August 2015 @ Sands Theatre, MasterCard Theatres at Marina Bay Sands. Buy your tickets through Sistic. 6 more days to go!

~ #RememberingLKY ~

23 March 2015 was the most depressing Monday blues I ever experienced. Depressing tunes was played in every radio station and everyone was in a solemn mode. It was a day of mourning for our nation, 29 March 2015. The day when our founding father, Mr Lee Kuan Yew finally rested. I decided to send him off and catch the State Funeral LIVE on the big screen since I was already at Suntec. For the first time I actually teared and felt so patriotic while reciting our national pledge and singing our national anthem. At the same time, I could hear the people who were siting behind me weeping and mourning for our founding father.

I was a prefect in my primary school and I wasn’t excited because I was also assigned to be the conductor and sometimes, the flag rasier, to lead the congregation during assembly. To me,it’s just a task but little did I know why were we doing this every morning. What’s the history of Singapore? Tbh, I knew nothing.  Till secondary school, my history lessons were brief. I’m not a very attentive student and always fell asleep during History classes. I still remembered how my history teacher Ms. Kwan woke me up by banging my table. All I knew was, there was Hitler, Stanford Raffles and we were independent in 1965. I ended up with Literature and Biology during my upper secondary. So that’s it – Bye Bye History. On a sidenote hor, my secondary school was featured in MOE SG50 celebration too! I remembered quite a few but too bad, my History teacher wasn’t in the video. So can’t introduce to you. LOL.

Ironically, after Mr. Lee’s death, I learnt more about Singapore Histroy. What he had done for Singapore. Through TV programs, media sharing, Facebook links and even daily conversations, I got to gather more knowledge. I even visited LKY Virtual Exhibition held at the National Museum of Singapore (blessed with no queue), the same day after the State Funeral ended and given a chance to pen down my tribute! How blessed. Grateful and sincere tributes were written by many. There were also critics on why was he the only one who was creditable for turning this tiny dot to a properous country and articles on how ruthless he was. And of course, these people were zapped and being called ungrateful. I choose to remain slient not because I don’t feel a thing at all but it’s a form of respect for the dead. I just felt that was not a need to be over-reacted and I had choosen to mourn in silence, which I thought perhaps I should share my feelings only when the right time comes.

During that entire mourning week, I witnessed a united nation. Thousands and thousands of Singaporeans went to pay their last respect to LKY and everyone was looking out for one another. I never heard about negative comments of we being  ‘kiasu’ or ‘kan cheong spider’ behaviors outside the parliament. I’ve seen respect and emphatic behaviors when I was queuing outside the parliament.  Companies also showed their gratitude towards this noble giant by giving out free food and water, free fruits and free umbrellas to those in queue. Some honored by giving out free flowers and car decals. Many also allowed their staff to take time off and arranged for chartered buses just to pay their last respect to Mr. LKY. Thanks to the constant update from CNN and #RememberingLKY website, we were able to know the waiting time to get into the parliament. I got my second sister as my companion and we decided that probably the best strategy timing was on Saturday early morning like 6am. Due to the overwhelming response, the queue was suspended. I was pretty disappointed by the fact that I may not be able to pay my last respect. Nevertheless, my sis and I decided to just give it a shot to see if the queue reopens at 7am, else we will just go to the nearest GRC. And Praise The Lord! The queue was opened but it was unannounced yet. So my sis and I only queued less than 2 hours in total to pay our last respect, very fortunate compared to many that camped more than 6 hours.

IMG_4162 IMG_4164

I personally felt very grateful and thankful to all the SAF and everyone who helped out, they kept giving us water and food, making sure we have umbrellas even just for that 2 hours.

“Thank you Mr. Lee for your passion and devotion, which lead us to such a prosperous and safe country to be in.  You will always be missed. May you Rest In Peace.”

If I knew my History back then in primary school, I would definitely do my duties with pride. Too late for now but I have to say I’ve never been more proud to be a Singaporean. Are you proud to be one too?

I hope you folks have enjoyed the long #SG50 weekend and yay to a short coming work week! Stay lovely!

5 #SG50 Beauty Perks to celebrate the country’s golden jubilee

Aloha people! Ikr! It had been 4 months since my last posting hor. Tsk Tsk Tsk! Of course Pucker & Pout, I have not forgotten about you but just that I had lost the momentum with so many things on my plate. Past few months were depressing yet fulfilling. I don’t know how to put it across to you guys tho, but in the mist of everything, I always remember to Rejoice!

Apart from mourning the loss of our late Prime Minister, I’m also mourning behalf of my BF who lost his best friend whom was by his side for coming 15 years. Mickey’s departure certainly bring rememberance of my own beloved doggie Don Don who had passed on 5 years ago in the month of April too. My heart really goes out to him and his family. I hope my presence is enough to comfort him and letting him know that he’s not alone because I will always be around. And then comes to the Love-Hate month May: Love because I’m showered with really lots of love from my love ones in my birthday month, Hate because I took up a 30 Bikram hot yoga days challenge, which puts my determination to a test and I did it! For June, I’m busy with my mum’s reviews on her cancer relapse. Little did I know once a cancer relapse, it does not has anymore stage, i.e anything could happen anytime! 😦 My mum refused to undergo a 2nd operation and hence the only options left were either doing a radiotherapy or chemotherapy. I really want to Thank God for always placing good doctors when in need. We were referred to a professional radiology consultant and he encouraged my mum to take up a new treatment called Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT). This treatment is painless with no downtime and there’s a 70% chance of recovery. It will not affect my mum quality of life in comparison to an operation. So Hooray! All the sessions were done and we will only get to know in October if this treatment is a success. 🙂 Pray with me ok?

Anyways, hope I didn’t bore you with my life story and let’s get my first beauty posting started (after such a long time), I was looking through what are the beauty maintenance can I do during August (since there is a long weekend coming) and thought maybe I shall just share with you Ladies:

Long time no see!

Hello Peeps! Missing Char Gal is back in action to say Hi…erm…once again (feeling guilty) with a little update. 🙂 How have you guys been? So what I had been up to? I had been pigging out during the festive season since early December till like NOW… Christmas all the way to Chinese New Year. Packed with the feasting gatherings  I felt exhausted with the little rest I had. But hey, these are the people who are close to me and I’m utterly blessed to have them in my life. It’s really hard to say ‘no’ as Christmas and Chinese New Year is the time whereby all of us will get together despite of our busy schedules. Proudly, I won hands down among my peers for having 13 times of lou hei!

My 10th time of lo hei! Will I huat 10X in the year of 2015?
But I hope to get a perfect 10 in happiness!

Hope all of you will get a perfect 10 in everything you wish for!

Greedy side of me: This is how I munchie (non-stop) my popcorn in the cinema these days!

And yes, super lagging in my workout too. Needless to say, I had broken the record of maintaining my weight for the past 3 years. Sob Sob! My gluttony caused me to gain 2.5kg in just these 3 months, resulting in a mini muffin tummy. All my abs definition gone with the wind liao. With a full stomach, I look like a 2 months-old preggy (hot) mama (I hope I am one next time). But then hor, as a consolation, other body parts like boobies and butt are slightly meatier too. lol.
See! I’m not kidding you, right?  I never “gek” it out one hor 😦
Sigh, failed to fulfil my abs resolution that I had set earlier on in 2014. Not very inspiring, I know. Hope I did not disappoint you, my friends. So right now, what I can only do is to cut down on my carbs, count my calories intake and get my ass moving. I happened to chance upon 10 Breakfast Smoothies That Will Help You Lose Weight and decided to give it a try. This week I’m having Apple-Cinnamon Breakfast Smoothie, which really keeps me full till lunch time. Gonna try the Flat Belly Smoothie next week!  At the same time, I took up a 30 days plank challenge. Hopefully my mini muffin tummy will disappear in no time!
This tasty high fiber content smoothie aids my digestion system and
helps me to regulate my bowel pattern smoothly.
Currently on my 3rd day challenge!
Being happily in love is one of the major contributing factor to bigger appetite and the missing action of mine. I really want to thank God for his goodness for bringing my boyfriend into my life, unexpectedly.  I glad that I found one who can give me peace and happiness, even though he annoys me at times (I think vice versa lah). The love confession I made finally came true. (Read more)  In His timing, I fall for the right one and I trust in God that he will lead and guide this love to where he want us to be.

For my single friends out there, be patient, have faith and do not give up, okie? I took 3 years to find one after my previous relationship and I will share with you my love-seeking adventure soon. 😛  Always remember: Never settle to be someone’s second best and never settle for second best too because you deserve the best. Keep watch over your heart, it’s where life starts. Continue to stay positive, folks!

guard ur heart
Sadly, the report of my mother’s latest review on her health last November wasn’t very positive as there is a possibility of relapse for her kidney cancer condition (Another factor why I lose my inspiration in writing post entries. 😦 ). A PET scan was done last December and thank god for his mercy that no cancerous cell was found in her rest of the body. More scans and tests on her affected kidney will be done this month end. Though I know I should cast my cares upon the Lord, sometimes  I can’t help to worry about it. I will continue to hold fast the confession of hope without wavering. No matter how I feel, I will get up, dress up, show up and never give up! Praying for the best!

My peak period with massive feast gatherings was over and finally I’m back. 🙂  April shall be rest month for me. No more social butterfly-ing unless I need to. I will throwback some backdated events that I had attended just FYI, hope they won’t bore you since its’ old news. Also, I will be updating with more inspiring entries on beauty, sports and lifestyle. Stay with me, okie?

Have a blessed weekend and stay lovely, folks!  ❤Thank you for reading! :) Much Luv, Char Gal❤

#Pomi-T Event Launch

Let me ask you my friends: Is health more important or wealth more important to you? To me, health is wealth.  Nothing beats having a good health because you will never get to enjoy yourself even you have wealth. Often, especially in our busy society, Singaporean really work too hard. How many of us really do have a work-life balance? Along the way, did we overlook something that is important to us? Of course I did. My health. That’s is why I decided to lead a healthy lifestyle only when something happens (read more here). Another example will be my mother, a homemaker who has always been leading a healthy lifestyle and to our surprise, she was diagnosed with early stage kidney cancer at the aged of 71 last year. Thank god she is fully healed now. That said even we are leading a healthy lifestyle that doesn’t stop us from having poor health. Pretty sure you have heard or even experience of someone whom you know in the same situation. It’s quite common these days. Sad truth hor. Guess it has a lot to do with the source and the quality of the food that we have in our meals. Either they are injected with growth hormones or they are processed (even our healthy options like cereals and muesli too!) . So what can we do to stop the spread of bad cells naturally? Obviously, healthy diet plays a big role but there’s a limitation dosage of nutrients we can intake from our daily meals. Recently, I got to know a new polyphenol rich whole food supplement product called Pomi-T through a presentation by UK Oncologist Professor Robert Thomas. It was such an enriching session, especially when he shared on the powerful impact of lifestyle and self help strategies after cancer which I can use these information and applied to my mother, who just recovered from her sickness.

Arriving at the Pomi-T Event Launch…

While waiting for the presentation to start…

Glad to have Lijuan with me 🙂 We were the first to arrive!

Other guests arriving…

Opening speech by Mr. Frank from UITC who brings in Pomi-T…

United Italian Trading Corporation (UITC) is a reputable pharmaceutical marketing distribution company established in Singapore since 1963, with branch offices in Hong Kong, Macau, and Malaysia. UITC represents international pharmaceutical manufacturers, importing only the finest quality pharmaceutical, medical and health products from around the world while keeping pace with today’s fast changing healthcare environment and consumer needs.

Presentation by Professor Robert Thomas…(He don’t look like in his 50s at all!)

Professor Robert Thomas is a Consultant Oncologist, a Professor at Cranfield University and a formal clinical lecturer at Cambridge University. He specialises in breast, colon and prostate cancer giving chemotherapy and biological therapies at Bedford Hospital, and radiotherapy and brachytherapy at Addenbrooke’s, Cambridge University Hospital. He is Chair and a media spokesperson for the Exercise Expert Advisory committee for Macmillan Cancer Support, editor of the lifestyle and cancer website Cancernet.co.uk and author of the book “Lifestyle after Cancer”. He directs an active research unit, linked to Cranfield University and Business School, which has designed several UK studies, published over 75 scientific papers in peer reviewed international medical and scientific journals. In 2001 he was voted Hospital Doctor Magazine “Doctor of the Year” and in 2007 The British Oncology Association “Oncologist of the Year”. In 2006 won the National Health Service (NHS) communication research prize. He and his team produce a monthly lifestyle Research and Cancer news update series and professionals and survivors can sign up to receive monthly updates via cancernet.co.uk.

Studies had shown that there are improvements for those who took part in the exercise interventions after cancer.

Exercising is definitely a MUST coupled with polyphenol rich diets will helped to lower cancer risk as well as lower relapse rate.

Which are the ideal polyphenol rich diets since there are so many in the market? According to Professor Robert Thomas, the ideals ones which can defend our cells against damage and abnormal formation is the perfect balance of Pomegranate, Turmeric, Broccoli and Green Tea.

Professor Robert Thomas also shared a few successful cases of patients who took part in the life intervention of treating their cancers naturally rather than choosing the option of doing adjuvant chemotherapy. The outcome was amazing and most importantly, the patients felt wonderful without significant side effects comparing to adjuvant chemotherapy.

One example…

So what exactly is Pomi-T?

Pomi-T®, a natural supplement, scientifically-proven to boost the body’s defence against cancer, is now in Singapore. Made from a perfect balance of foods from four distinct food categories – fruit, vegetable, spice and leaf – Pomi-T® harnesses the natural antioxidant and anti-cancer properties of pomegranate, broccoli, turmeric and green tea in a convenient capsule form.

Pomi-T® stands out as one of the few supplements supported by medical research. Its combination of natural ingredients has been carefully researched in a study backed by United Kingdom’s National Cancer Research Network (NCRN). Pomi-T® is formulated by Professor Robert Thomas, based on scientific studies into the properties of these four ingredients:

  • Pomegranate has natural antioxidant properties that inhibit the uncontrolled growth of cells by suppressing the enzymes in the intestine and liver that convert pro-carcinogens into cancer-causing agents, and causes cells to self-terminate. It also helps to reduce the migration of abnormal cells and aids the regeneration of healthy ones instead.
  • Curcumin, which gives turmeric its yellow colour, has anti-inflammatory properties that inhibit the growth of abnormal stem cells, consequentially reducing the growth of abnormal cells and prevents the spread of damaged cells without harming healthy cells.
  • Extensive research into green tea has shown that it helps the self-termination process of unhealthy cells. It inhibits the spread of damaged cells, retains good cells, and suppresses the formation of blood vessels that supply abnormal cells with nourishment.
  • Broccoli slows the growth of malignant cells. Regular broccoli intake regulates genes linked to abnormal cell growth and promotes genes associated with the suppression of abnormal cells.

Frequently Asked Questions on Pomi-T…

Q. Why was Pomi-T developed?

A. Pomi-T was specifically designed and developed by a panel of doctors, scientists and nutritionists – led by an oncologist from Cambridge University – to conduct a national randomized control trial for a variety of research purposes. Among the research being conducted, the panel was also looking at how polyphenols within these ingredients would work together to produce synergistic benefits.

Q. What are the ingredients in Pomi-T?

A. Pomi-T is a gelatin capsule containing only purified green tea, pomegranate seed extract, broccoli extract and turmeric.

Q. Does Pomi-T contain any additive?

A. No. Pomi-T contains only pure active ingredients. There are no preservatives, colours or flavours, chelating or bulking agents in Pomi-T.

Q. What are the health benefits of polyphenol rich diets?

A. Diets rich in polyphenols, the natural plant-based phytochemicals found in healthy foods, have been linked with lower risks of chronic illnesses such as dementia, high cholesterol, arthritis, heart disease, skin ageing and macular degeneration. Population studies have also linked their regular intake with lower risks of many cancers including breast, pancreatic, esophageal, ovarian, prostate, and skin cancer.

The anti-cancer effects of polyphenols, however, do not stop after a diagnosis of cancer. Breast cancer survivors eating polyphenol-rich fruit, vegetables, soy and green tea were found to have lower relapse rates. Individuals with skin cancer, who had a high intake of leafy green vegetables and broccoli, had lower rates of new cancer formation. A healthy lifestyle, including a polyphenol-rich diet, has been linked to a slower rate of PSA progression among men with indolent prostate cancer.

Q. How could Pomi-T® have an anti-cancer effect?

A. Polyphenol rich food extracts have demonstrated anti-cancer effects in laboratory studies, particularly the four within Pomi-T. In the laboratory, extracts of each ingredient demonstrated benefits when added to cancer cells grown in a petri dish, including suppressing growth and markers of invasion and metastasis.

The ingredients have been specifically selected not to have any hormonal (phytoestrogenic) effects but they do have some reported antioxidant properties. Benefits in humans of polyphenol supplements have been limited to small non-randomised studies except the Pomi- T study, which showed a significant benefit of this specific polyphenol blend.

Q. Who should be taking Pomi-T?

A. The US Food and Drug Authority (FDA) and the UK’s Medicines and Health Regulatory Authority (MHRA) have classed Pomi-T® as a food supplement and not a medicinal product so it cannot be recommended for any medical condition or claim any health benefits.

That said, Pomi-T® is in a unique position that it was evaluated in a national scientific study, a double blind placebo controlled randomised trial, the results of which were presented at the World’s largest and most prestigious cancer conference (ASCO). The study shows that polyphenol-rich food, in powdered extract, has been linked to a slower rate of PSA progression.

As an all-natural food supplement, Pomi-T can be consumed by anyone over the age of 16.

Q. Can I take Pomi-T while pregnant or breastfeeding?

A. There is no evidence that turmeric, broccoli, pomegranate or green tea adversely affects pregnancy, though the safety of these supplements during pregnancy and lactation have not been established through research.

Q. What are the side effects of Pomi-T?

A. Independent scientific analysis from the Pomi-T trial showed no statistically significant difference in side effects between Pomi-T and placebos.

Less than 5% who previously reported mild indigestion also reported that it disappeared if they consumed the supplement together with food.

Q. Does Pomi-T interact with other drugs?

A. Like some other fruit juices, pomegranate has a potential interaction with some drugs. There is, therefore, a small potential risk of reducing the metabolism and thereby increasing serum levels of medicines such as Warfarin, anti-hypertensives such as Captopril and Ramipril, or anti-convulsants such as Carbamazepine.

Individuals on Warfarin or blood pressure tablets are not excluded from taking Pomi-T and no adverse changes in blood pressure or INR were reported in men taking Ramipril or Warfarin in the Pomi-T study, but it may be advisable to repeat a blood pressure and an INR test within two weeks of starting Pomi-T.

Q. Can I take Pomi-T® during chemotherapy?

A. A laboratory test using cells in petri dishes suggest that high doses of polyphenols can have anti-oxidant activity, which may potentially reduce the action of chemotherapy. This has not actually been substantiated in humans and there are ongoing studies registered with the National Cancer Institute to try to find out if they can reduce side effects of chemotherapy without reducing the effect.

In view of this potential interaction, until this issue has been scientifically resolved, consumption of Pomi-T® is best avoided 1 day before and 3 days after the administration of chemotherapy medication.

Q. Is it OK to use Pomi-T® if you have other cancers?

A. The scientific committee designed the first experimental evaluation of Pomi-T in men with prostate cancer because it is a common condition and easy to investigate. Often, in the early stages of prostate cancer, men were not taking any other treatments – so it is easier to attribute the affect on the cancer to the action of Pomi-T. The background laboratory experiments, however, reported the same positive effects across a number of tumour types.

The scientific committee is planning a series of studies involving different stages of prostate cancer (including men on hormones and post radical treatments including surgery and radiotherapy) and other types including CLL, ovarian, breast and bowel cancer. However, at this time, there is no scientific research proving the efficacy of Pomi-T against other cancer types.

UK Oncologist Professor Robert Thomas

Professor Robert Thomas conducted a double-blind randomised clinical trial to evaluate Pomi-T®’s effectiveness, and the results were announced in 2013 at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, the world’s largest and most prestigious cancer conference. In that study funded by the NCRN, Pomi-T® was proven to lower levels of prostate-specific antigen (PSA), a protein that indicated abnormal growth in prostate cells, and slows cancer progression. Each ingredient works differently to stimulate epigenetic mechanisms that modify the way cancer cells regulate their growth and development, without significant side effects.

Pomi-T Pack Shot

Pomi-T® is now available at all leading pharmacies and retails at $49.90 for 60 capsules. For more information, please visit http://www.pomi-t.sg and http://www.facebook.com/PomiTsg.

It’s my honour to have a photo taken with Professor Robert Thomas and blessed with his book!

Many thanks to Strategic Public Relations Group for the invitation.

It’s an enriching session with a good dinner, good company and you guys are such awesome team!

There’s always a saying prevention is better than cure. Now you know there’s a natural supplement that shows effectiveness of polyphenols in slowing cancer growth.  Why not take it to lower the chance of activating or stop the spread of  bad cells naturally?

It may look like a website for boys or men BUT actual fact is that it carried a whole wide range of ladies stuff too! From apparel to accessories such as sunglasses to wallets, tote bags, necklaces and even to handphone covers too! Sporty ones of course!

Back to the Game Day Challenge Outfit.: Game day doesn’t mean you need to be bound by the typical sporty boyish style. So what is my game day outfit for this baseball season? Definitely something with a feminine side of me! One of the biggest looks for spring 2014 is sports luxe, hence I decided to choose a colour-block sporty dress that has black panels to add interest to the design with a touch of athletic luxe. After looking through over 4000 types of MLB Hats, my final pick is New Era St. Louis Cardinals Ladies Chic Cadet Military Adjustable Hat in Red to match my outfit. I guess the name of the hat says it all, do I still have to explain? LOL. Not only it is CHIC but it is BOLD and LOUD, drawing more attention to my whole outfit. What I like about it, it is also unstructured. When comes to hats and bags, I like unstructured shapes. Does it always shows I’m more of a flexible person too? JK. lol.  To complement the sports luxe look, a chunky pearl necklace is also used to accessorize for a more feminine and glamorous feel, bringing out the ladylikeness in me!

Here’s my Game Day #ootd with #Fanatics Baseball Hat

I thought it will be interesting to superimpose to see how my game outfit with the hat rather than just seeing the ensemble. I know it’s quite fake with the superimpose but don’t you think I will look chic and cute in it with the real one? Use your imagination!  Hehe.  😛
